What is Biznet Hotspot?
Biznet Hotspot is a high-speed wireless Internet Access service provided by Biznet in public places such as hotels, coffee shops and malls. This sophisticated wireless network has a connection up to 1 Mbps if connected via Biznet MetroNET service . Speed at other location may vary.

What do I need to use the service?
There 3 things that you need in order to use Biznet Hotspot service:
- Wireless-enabled laptop or PDA/handheld. If you laptop or PDA does not have the 802.11b wireless networking card, you can purchase at your favorite computer store. If you have it installed, then set your network identifier (SSID) to 'Biznet_Hotspot'. Please refer to your wireless networking card user manual for instruction on how to set the network identifier/SSID.
- Internet browser. Typically already installed in your device.
- For paid service, you need Biznet Hotspot User ID and Password. You can get the User ID and Password by purchasing Biznet Hotspot Prepaid Card at Biznet Hotspot locations.

How does the Biznet Hotspot service work?
Biznet installs a broadband Internet Access to each location. Then at the Biznet Hotspot location, we install Access Points to cover service area. When a wireless-enabled device within the Biznet Hotspot service coverage, it should be able to detect the network. If a user launch the Internet Browser, then the login screen will show up and requesting to enter User ID and Password to get access to the Internet. If the User ID and Password are correct, then the device can connect to Internet or Corporate VPN network.

Can I subscribe to monthly Biznet Hotspot service?
At this moment Biznet only provide wireless service thru prepaid card only.

Do I need a special software to use Biznet Hotspot?
No, you don't need to install special client software to use Biznet Hotspot. All you need is Internet browser to login to our login page.

How do I send email using Biznet Hotspot?
You can send email with your favorite email application or via web browser.

Does Biznet Hotspot support VPN?
Yes, Biznet Hotspot support VPN connection. After you login you Biznet Hotspot service, launch your VPN client in order to connect to your VPN Server.
